Aaron Walker III is a Chicago native and LA based filmmaker who is the Founder and Creative Producer for 3RD World Productions. A graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in Fine and Applied Arts he moved west and began his career in the entertainment industry. Professionally he has a background in Marketing for Feature Film and Television that spans two decades. Aaron has created, contributed, produced and finished key art, including print, trailers and television and radio spots for Disney, Fox, Warner Bros., Sony, BET, The Africa Channel.
Mr. Walker’s film and television credits include Planet of the Apes, Minority Report, Cars 2, Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides, The Bernie Mac Show, House Hunters International, and Best Man Holiday to name just a view. His works also includes film projects for HBO and marketing campaigns for Nike. His incredible experience and knowledge acquired from behind the scenes led him to be invited to serve as film lecturer teaching editing in Abuja, Nigeria. That opportunity led him to serve as a journalist photographer and be published in various news outlets internationally. His photography work has additionally been published domestically working with various music artist. A highlight in his career was interviewing Quincy Jones at his home for the Producers Guild. His latest project, Debaters Without Borders, was an official selection of the 2021 Morehouse Human Rights film festival. Mr. Walker is currently traveling across the country on a college tour screening the film to promote diversity within the debate community.
